Financial assistance Program

In order to make Affordable Medicines Now as accessible as possible, we have secured a pool of funding for assistance with travel and housing. Additionally, registration fees may be waived for guests with financial need.

Below you will find a link to our financial assistance form. Please fill out this form to apply for financial assistance from the Affordable Medicines Now coordinating team.

Assistance can be broken down as follows:

  • Registration fee of $100 can be waived for those who apply with need, and check the box asking for the fee waiver
  • Housing assistance is available for applicants to subsidize the cost of staying in Washington D.C. during the conference:
    • Housing subsidy will cover as much as 75% of housing costs
    • For a discounted rate in a shared (dorm-style) room, please visit Hostelling International and check out with the coupon code "CITIZEN."
    • For housing near the conference venue, Georgetown University Law Center, please consult this map.
  • Travel assistance is available from a limited fund, and will be awarded based on number of applicants and fund availability.

Financial Assistance will be available by reimbursement - if your situation stipulates that another arrangement be made, please email the conference organizers at medsaccess@citizen.org with your situation and needs for review.
